Visitors attending a meeting
Collect the information needed to identify and contact a business visitor.
- Name and contact details
- Reason for visit
- Visitor photo
Let visitors, event guests and staff choose why they are checking in, then direct them to the form and settings created for that purpose.
Different purposes, one entry point
A single site can have very different check-in requirements. A meeting visitor may need to provide contact details, a reason for visiting and a photo. An event guest may only need a shorter form with relevant custom questions. Staff attendance may require GPS coordinates to help confirm where the check-in occurred.
ScanIn handles these requirements by using separate Locations for the individual configurations, then bringing them together in one Check-in Menu. The person scans one QR code, selects their type of check-in and continues to the appropriate form.
Tailored check-in requirements
Each menu option opens its own Location configuration, so fields and settings do not need to be the same.
Collect the information needed to identify and contact a business visitor.
Keep the arrival process short while asking questions relevant to the event.
Use a dedicated staff configuration instead of presenting the visitor form.
Why use a Check-in Menu?
Keep signage uncluttered by giving everyone the same code at the shared entrance.
Only ask for the information relevant to that person and the reason they are on site.
People choose the check-in purpose that applies to them before the form begins.
Update one Location's fields or questions without changing the other menu options.
Add a menu title and custom logo, then use button colours to make each option distinct.
Add another Location option when a new event, visitor type or attendance workflow is introduced.
One scan directs each person to the appropriate configuration
The same Check-in Menu code is displayed for everyone arriving at the site.
The person selects the option that matches their visit, event or staff attendance.
ScanIn opens the fields, questions and settings configured for that Location.
The completed entry is recorded against the selected Location for review in ScanIn.
